Vacation rentals run on tight turnover windows—often the same Saturday a guest checks out at 11 AM and the next checks in at 4 PM. Post-remodel cleanup is its own category, where drywall dust gets into every fixture and the finish work won't look right until it's all out. Vacation rental turnovers run on a checklist tied to the listing's standard: linens stripped and remade (we use the property's supplied set or coordinate with a linen service), bathrooms scrubbed to the no-streak finish guests photograph, kitchen cleaned including inside the microwave and around stove burners, common areas vacuumed and damp-mopped, hot tub wiped down if present, garbage and recycling out, and a final walk to confirm nothing the prior guest left behind got missed. Most turnovers run 2-4 hours depending on property size. We coordinate with the property manager or owner directly and send photos when the unit is reset. Post-construction cleanup is the work that makes a remodel actually feel done. Drywall dust gets into HVAC registers, behind baseboards, into the texture of walls. We wet-wipe horizontal surfaces, vacuum with HEPA filters to avoid kicking dust back up, clean window tracks where construction grit accumulates, wash interior windows of any finish residue, and damp-mop hard floors. Final detail pass on kitchen or bath fixtures we touched during the remodel removes tape residue, fingerprints, and protective film. Typical post-construction cleanup runs 1-2 days for a bathroom remodel scope, 3-5 days for a whole-house remodel. Seasonal deep cleans are for residents who want a reset twice a year—usually spring (after wood-stove season) and fall (before holiday hosting begins). Inside oven, refrigerator pull-out and clean-behind, baseboards damp-wiped, light fixtures dusted, ceiling fans wiped, interior windows, and the corners standard cleaning skips. We work to a written checklist so nothing gets missed and you can see what got done. We don't bring our own supplies as a default—we'll use what's already in the home or supply commercial-grade products at additional cost. Many homeowners and rental managers prefer their own products for allergy and surface-compatibility reasons.
